The test on chapters 7–9 was given in class on November 5. Here is some statistical information about the scores earned:

You should score your own test and make sure the correct score is listed for you in the online gradebook on Blackboard. Here is how to do that:

  1. Check your answers against the correct answers:

  1. Divide the number of questions you answered correctly by the total number of questions (24).
  2. Multiply by 100 to express this score as a percentage.
  3. This test was curved by 10 percentage points. So, add 10 to the previous number.
  4. Round off to the nearest hundredth of a percentage point. For example, if your calculator reads 66.66666, round that off to 66.67. The resulting grade should match the grade recorded for you in the online gradebook on Blackboard. If it does not, please come see me (and, of course, bring your test with you).
